POST SURGICAL REHABILITATION
To achieve the optimal outcome from your upcoming orthopaedic surgery, it is often recommended that Physiotherapy intervention commences prior to surgery (Prehab). By preparing your body prior for surgery you can maximise your range of movement, strength& fitness going into the procedure. The Physiotherapist will also educate you on what is expected following surgery and familiarise you with the post-surgery exercises & any mobility aids or equipment required. Following surgery, the Physiotherapist will assess your strength and function and design an individual rehabilitation programme to facilitate a smooth and timely recovery.

WORK PLACE & SPORTS INJURY
Whether injured on the sporting field or within the workplace, Physiotherapy rehabilitation is directed towards a timely and graduated return to sport/workplace. Move & Mend Physiotherapy provides outcome-based rehabilitation programs for work/sport related injuries in order to restore optimal and pain free function. Rehabilitation options available include both hands on therapy and active rehabilitation exercise approach.
Individual goal setting & working with trainers &/or employees are important inclusions in the rehabilitation process. Suitable duties plan for return to work&/or graduated return to training regime are designed and monitored by the treating physiotherapist for a graded return to work/sport and a seamless transition back to full duties/ sporting arena.
A GP or medical specialist must refer workplace injuries being claimed via worker’s compensation.
